It's No Coincidence Queen Elizabeth Looked Like A Peep in Her Yellow Dress and Hat at the Royal Wedding

While Brittania was cheering on the wedding of William and Kate, here at One Prairie Outpost we had a much simpler affair, celebrating the one-year anniversary of the day Ben and I made the journey to Cackle Hatchery in Lebanon, Mo., to pick up our day-old chicks. To celebrate, I popped popcorn for them. I'm not sure they realized that day was any more special than Wednesday when Ben also took them popcorn. But I knew, and that's what matters. Sometimes gift giving is as much about the happiness it brings the giver as it does the receiver. Here's a look back to a year ago at the little peepers' first days.
